Quarantine areas help to limit the introduction and spread of contagious diseases. The CDC manages U.S. Quarantine Stations for international travelers, but quarantine areas have also been implemented on a smaller scale in healthcare facilities, on maritime vessels, and other work environments. If your facility has a quarantine area, use quarantine signs to help direct people and warn those who are not sick or authorized to keep out.
