The Standard Gate Valve Lockout provides a simple and effective solution for securing gate valves during maintenance and repair operations. Designed to fit valve handles from 1 in. to 2.5 inches in diameter, the lockout device fully encloses the handwheel and rotates freely without turning the valve, offering a foolproof solution for reliable hazardous energy control during critical maintenance.
Molded from impact-resistant ABS, it’s tough, lightweight, and withstands harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures ranging from -4°F to 194°F (-20°C to 90°C). Easy to install, store, and use, the lockout accepts one safety padlock for secure energy isolation. However, for group lockout applications involving multiple workers, the device can be used with a lockout hasp to allow additional padlocks.
