Concealed carry laws vary by local jurisdiction, but generally private property owners have the right to restrict gun possession whether the property is personal or commercial. If you have decided not to allow the possession of firearms or weapons in your facility, enforce the rules with concealed carry signs. These signs ensure that both workers and visitors understand the situation and your right to prohibit guns on your property.
Concealed carry signs should be posted throughout your entire facility, including the parking lots and other open spaces. Depending on your location, you may have to implement these signs as a reminder of federal law; gun possession is restricted near schools (within a distance of 1,000 feet) and on certain types of federal property.
